One dies of COVID at Tinsukia Civil Hospital

DOOMDOOMA: Ratna Phukan, wife of Pranjal Phukan and a resident of Azad Road, Fatikjan gaon, died of COVID-19 at Tinsukia Civil Hospital on Monday night. She was 46 and is survived by her husband and two daughters.

She was a good athlete and was sports secretary during her school days at Doomdooma Girls' High School. Her death has cast a pall of gloom and was widely mourned by various organizations, including Doomdooma Girls, High School, Doomdooma Mahila Samiti, and Ramdhenu Mahila Chora, Doomdooma.
