One Dies of COVID in Sonitpur district, 275 New Cases Registered

TEZPUR: One person died due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Thursday. Official sources said, COVID positive Gunusha Bora (65), resident of Nandikeshwar, Jamugurihat, Sonitpur died at Tezpur Medical College and Hospital, taking the death toll to 103 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic. Altogether 5,348 tests were done across the district on Thursday out of which 4,751 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 275 positive cases found, 262 cases were from RAT and 13 from RT-PCR.
