One electrocuted in Morigaon district

JAGIROAD: One Shiva Prashad Gogo (49) of Kumoi village under Jagiroad Police Station in Morigaon district was electrocuted on Sunday morning. Sources said that Gogoi along with one of his cows got

when he came in contact with a live electric wire that was laying on a nearby road. Local people alleged that no officials either from the APDCL or district administration visited the spot. The aggrieved people resorted to Jagiroad- Morigaon road blockage. They also alleged that due to apathy on the part of the APDCL, many such incidents have occurred.
