JORHAT: Sunil Karmakar (18) was attacked by a leopard when he went to take a bath in the River Charaipani at Charaipani Tea Estate along the Assam-Nagaland border under Titabor subdivision in Jorhat district on Tuesday.
The leopard severely injured Sunil. He was rushed from the Titabor 30-bedded hospital to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital for better treatment. He is now out of danger, said Dr. Nilotpal Bhattacharyya, the PRO of JMCH.
