One Killed in a Road Mishap at Amguri

GAURISAGAR: Dipankar Borgohain , son of Khiresh Borgohain, a resident of Barahibari Natun Changmai village was killed in a pathetic road accident that took place at Lalimchiga on the outskirt of Amguri Police Station in Sivasagar district on Thursday night. According to report Borgohain was going towards Samaguri by riding his Pulsar Bike bearing registration no AS-03-R-7450 suddenly forcibly hit a Scotty bearing registration no AS-03-P-2672 from behind who were traveling towards same director . In this accident the bike rider Dipankar skidded off on the road died in spot and Scotty rider Nitu Gogoi and Swapnali Gogoi received seriously injuries . It is believed that accident occurred due to the presence of heavy fog.
