One killed in road mishap in Sivasagar district

GAURISAGAR: Monuj Protim Bhuyan (27), son of Banshidhar Bhuyan of Kakojan Arandhara village in Teok police station under the Jorhat district, died on spot in a pathetic road accident that took place at Charing Gogoi Ali, 7 km away from Gaurisagar Police Station in the Sivasagar district.

According to report, Monuj was travelling from Sivasagar towards home by riding his Pulsar bike bearing registration number AS 03 R 4139. Suddenly at Charing Gogoi Ali, an unidentified vehicle knocked down his Pulsar bike and he died on the spot. His demise has widely mourned in his birth place. Monuj was a meritorious student and completed his B.Sc degree from Kakojan College in 2016. Later, he served in a business firm at Sivasagar.
