One trampled to death at Borlengri village in Howraghat

HOWRAGHAT: A woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Borlengri village under Khatkhati Police station recently. The deceased was identified as Meena Munda (45). According to her kin, she was going to the nearby village Ribubosti early in the morning and due to thick fog, visibility was almost zero. She came quite close to the elephant before noticing it. As reflex action, the elephant charged at her and trampled her to death. Meena Munda leaves behind her husband, two sons and three daughters.
