ONGC lights up Jugi-Jatakia with solar street lanterns in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: ONGC and Nazira subdivisional administration have come forward to reduce human-leopard conflict in Jugi Jatakia area of Nazira block, promptly responding to the request of the villagers who have been living in terror since the last two decades. In a commendable initiative, ONGC, Assam Asset offered 40 solar street lights among which 20 have already been installed during the last two days in the village. The village has largely been affected by human-leopard conflict since the last 20 years resulting in huge loss of livestock. Local people highly appreciated ONGC and the administration for the endeavour.
