OP Sadbhavana Medical Camp held in Sonitpur District

TEZPUR: OP Sadbhavana Medical Camp was conducted successfully at Kadamtal HE School, Hatipukhuri village under Rangapara LAC in Sonitpur District by 4004 Fd Hospital & 4 CDU under the aegis of Med Branch HQ 4 Corps. Two medical officers (one male & one female), one Dental Officer from 4 CDU, 1 Pharm JCO, 3 Nursing JCO & 22 Paramedics took part in the camp. 476 patients (155 females 107 males &174 children) were benefitted by the camp. Screening for Diabetes Mellitus, Anaemia and Cataract were carried out and three diabetes, seven cataract and nine anaemia cases were detected. Cataract cases were further referred to 155 Base Hospital for Ophthalmology consultation. 58 patients having dental complaints were treated by the Dental Officer. Medicines were distributed to patients as prescribed by the Medical Officers.
