Kokrajhar: A one-day district level orientation programme was organised on National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) and Kanaklata Mahila Sawalikaran Achoni at Bodofa Cultural Complex in Kokrajhar on Monday to observe Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission.
Women from different areas of the district, members from various self help groups(SHG) and rural livelihood mission workers/activists participated the occasion and shared information on various activities carried out mission across the stateThe mission workers are dedicating their services in their respective areas to enhance good environment as well as healthy living with livelihood earning ways.
Assam Social Welfare Minister, Pramila Rani Brahma attended the programme as chief guest. She has urged the mission worker and staffs to render more services among common masses to build more uplifting and integration.
District programme manager of NRLM, Bichitra Biju Narzary told that the programme discussed on the livelihoods building up among society. He informed that the NRLM was working for the uplifting of society.
