Paddy procurement starts in Sivasagar district

SIVASAGAR: The process of procurement of paddy officially started at Morabazar, Sivasagar, Demow and Sologuri Paddy Procurement Centers in Sivasagar district on Monday. Inspecting the PPCs, Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar Aditya Vikram Yadav urged all the farmers to participate actively in the paddy procurement process. Additional Deputy Commissioner Karmadev Brahma, agriculture development officers along with departmental officials like DDS of FCS&CA Lal Chandra Bari, Inspector of FCS&CA Ujjal Phukan, Asif Bora and Rumi Bora were also present.
