Padma Hazarika seeks cooperation of public for Dhalpur Agri Project in Mangaldai

MANGALDAI: The timely intervention and presence of Dhalpur Agri Project chairman Padma Hazarika and police officials helped in averting an untoward incident arising out of a deep-rooted conspiracy hatched by a certain political circle in the area.

On Saturday, as farmers of the novel project initiated by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma were busy in the project activities, a group of villagers started heated argument with them. On receipt of the information, legislator Padma Hazarika immediately rushed to the area and held a cordial discussion with the villagers and assured to consider their grievances and to engage the youth of the village in the Dhalpur Project. He also appealed to all sections of the society not to rely on the rumours being aired by a section of certain political elements. He also reiterated the commitment of the State Government in ensuring the interest of the indigenous people.
