Painting exhibition inaugurated at Sivasagar Art Gallery

SIVASAGAR: Sivasagar District Development Commissioner Subhan Gowala inaugurated a painting and sculpture exhibition of local artists at Sivasagar Art Gallery on Saturday. The exhibition was organized under the aegis of Sivasagar district administration in line with the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and as a part of 75th Independence Day of the country.

Artistes Parameshwar Dutta, Durlav Bora, Abhijit Kashyap, Mukul Gogoi, Azanur Rahman, Debajyoti Baruah, Murjida Begum, Rajiv Borgohain, Prashanta Gogoi, Pradip Gogoi and Konkan Saikia are participating in the exhibition. The district administration has appealed to all the people of Sivasagar to enjoy the exhibition which will be held till August 15.

Apart from the artistes of the exhibition, the opening ceremony of the exhibition was also attended by Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Ashwini Doley, Additional Deputy Commissioners Karmadev Brahma, Bitupan Neog, Chandana Baruah, Dr. Mandira Baruah.
