Panchayat & Rural Development Minister Ranjit Dass visits Morigaon

MORIGAON: Panchayat & Rural Development Minister Ranjit Dass on Tuesday visited Morigaon. Talking to the media persons, he assured the contractual employees under Panchayat & Rural Development to provide provident fund facility with an increase in increment. The minister on Tuesday made a sudden visit on the way to Guwahati while returning from Tezpur's Cabinet meeting. He inspected the FCI Godown at Dalbari, GP office and the fishery located inside the ITI campus. Earlier the minister took part in a review meeting with the officials of Supply and P & RD at DC's conference hall. The minister inaugurated the Asom Handloom Project, a self-made project by self-help groups under Kapili development block at Niz-Barapujia.
