Parag Bhuyan death case: Sit-in observed by Kakopathar

TINSUKIA: The Kakopathar Press Club along with Kakopathar Regional Students' Union in association with local people observed sit-in at Kakopathar on Saturday in protest against non-submission of inquiry report by CID related to journalist Parag Bhuyan death case even after one month of the incident. President of Kakopathar Press Club Bijoy Dutta, social worker Biren Deka , assistant secretary Tinsukia District Students' Union Bitu Deka participated in the protest among others. Later, Bitu Deka while expressing strong resentment told media persons that as CID under Assam Government had failed to submit the report even after one month of the incident, the organisation has lost confidence on the department and demanded that the inquiry should be handed over to the CBI.
