Pathsala people protest against irregular electricity supply and criticizes the government

PATHSALA: Irate people of Pathsala on Thursday staged a protest in the office of the APDCL and lamented the promise made by the BJP-led government of regular electricity supply.

The protesters included activists of the students’ union of Bhattadev University and Pathsala Anchalik Students’ Union. They said that irregular power supply during the present heatwave had made their lives miserable. Students, they added, were the most affected. They said that the present government’s promise to ensure regular electricity supply in the subdivisional township had fallen flat. The irate protesters even locked the APDCL office and demanded regular electricity supply.
