Pathsala Sankardev Sishu Niketan celebrates silver jubilee with fanfare

PATHSALA: The Sankardev Sishu Niketan of Pathsala in Barpeta district, which was established in 1995, is celebrating the concluding function of its silver jubilee year with three-day colorful programs which started from Friday in the school premises.

The celebration entered the second day on Saturday. A huge rally was taken out in Pathsala town. Dressed in various traditional attires, students of the school, alumni, teachers, staff, parents, guardians and well-wishers participated in this grand rally and returned back to the school campus. The rally was inaugurated by Birinchi Kumar Borah, SDPO Bajali. A cleanliness drive was conducted in the school campus in the morning.

On a concluding day on March 15, an interaction program with alumni and teachers will be organized. Warm felicitation will also be accorded to the teachers of the institution for rendering valuable service in the school. A souvenir will be released in the open meeting where Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Hrishikesh Goswami, CM’s press advisor, will grace the occasion.

The entire program will conclude with a cultural program where popular singer Dikshu will perform.
