People stage protest to demand road construction in Demow

DEMOW: The people of Ward no. 1 of Borpial Habi Gaon of Borbam Gaon Panchayat in Thowra Constituency protested in the Borpial Habi Gaon Road on Wednesday to demand construction of the road. The locals also protest against Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain. They said that Ward no. 1 of Borpial Habi Gaon Road was in a poor condition for a long time for which the people had made several appeals to the office concerned and minister but till date the road had not been constructed. The locals demanded the authoarity concerned to construct the road at the earliest without delay.
