Phiju Bora expelled from All Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Sanmilan

JAMUGURIHAT: Phiju Bora, the finance secretary of All Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Sanmilan (AAJYS), has been rusticated from his portfolio due to his involvement in illegal collection in the name of the organization, according to a press release issued by Rajib Das and Anil Bora, president and secretary of the central committee, respectively.

The press release further stated that the executive meeting held today decided to rusticate Phiju Bora from his portfolio as per the allegation raised against him. Phiju Bora, who hails from Tinsukia district, was involved in money collection in the name of the organization without the consent of the district committee or the central committee of the organization as well. The press release further asks all concerned not to make any financial dealings in the name of the organization hereafter. He was expelled from the primary membership of the organization, according to the release.
