Piramal Swasthya observed World Diabetes Day in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Piramal Swasthya observed World Diabetes Day in collaboration with the NCD Cell, National Health Mission, Assam and World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark, here on Monday.

The event began with a Diabetes Walk from the PSMRI premises near the Anuradha Cinema at Bamunimaidam to the Chandmari playground. The Diabetes Walk was jointly flagged off by ace swimmer Elvis Ali Hazarika and Nayanmoni Saikia, international lawn bowler from Assam, stated a press release.

Nearly 50 people participated in this walk to spread awareness about diabetes and its prevention.
