Piyush Hazarika Alleges Akhil Gogoi's Involvement in Land Grabbing, Says There's Ample Evidence

GUWAHATI: Assam Minister of Water Resources, Piyush Hazarika took to his Twitter account to say that Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi is involved in massive land grabbing of government owed lands occurring in the state.

The Minister also mentioned in his tweet that there is enough evidence supporting his statement of allegations against Akhil Gogoi.

The Land Grabbing Act of Assam defines it as an activity of attempting to occupy land with or without the use of force, threat, intimidation and deceit, over the land that one doesn't have ownership of.

This is not the first time that Hazarika has made such an allegation against Gogoi however he has been repeatedly making allegations on different matters against CAA leader Akhil Gogoi.

Earlier in the month of July Water Resource Minister Pijush Hazarika regarded Akhil Gogoi as an 'actor' when the MLA was admitted to Guwahati Medical College for treatment during his judicial custody. The minister alleged Gogoi after he was discharged by a special NIA (National Investigation Agency) court which set him free from all charges.
