Plasma donor felicitated by Gaon Panchayat officials in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: A youth named Babul Konwar of Bholaguri Gaon under Badulipar Gaon Panchayat who donated his plasma after recovering from COVID-19 was felicitated by the Gaon Panchayat officials recently.

Babul Konwar was working in Chennai and was tested positive for COVID-19 after he returned to Assam. After recovering from the dreaded disease he volunteered to donate plasma and on July 29 he donated his plasma in Guwahati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH).

In the felicitation programme GP president Lanima Phukan, ASHA worker Bonti Gogoi, Anganwadi worker Nirmola Gogoi, village headman Pankaj Gogoi, social worker Ritul Gogoi and Biman Phukan were present.
