DIBRUGARH: In order to encourage suitable plasma donors to donate their plasma, a blood component for effective treatment of infected COVID-19 patients, Marowari Natya Samiti (MNS) and Dibrugarh Press Club (DPS) have taken up a unique step.
In association with Dibrugarh district administration, both organizations have decided to felicitate all those 100 plasma donors who donate their plasma in the Plasma Bank at Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMC&H) from September 10, with a citation and cash amount of Rs 5,000.
MNS president Kailash Bagaria, vice-president Kailas Dhanuka and other members had a discussion with Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha at the DC's conference room on Wednesday. DC Jha lauded the efforts of MNS for resolving such encouraging steps and had constituted a 5-6 member committee for successful implementation of the proposed scheme of MNS.
