PM Kisan special camps organized in Sonitpur
TEZPUR: A PM Kisan Special Camp was organized in the Sonitpur district for the benefit of eligible farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
Sonitpur district administration and district agriculture department launched the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme in the district. A total of 80 special camps in 80 Gaon Panchayat offices under 15 Agriculture Development Circles of the district were held June 12 to facilitate the eligible beneficiaries of PM Kisan Scheme to receive the 14th instalment and continue receiving the subsequent instalments. Three special PM Kisan camps have been organized at the department office.
The PM Kisan camps started on Monday and Pankaj Kumar Saikia, DAO, Sonitpur, inspected the overall situation and urged the officers and employees to pay special attention to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the farmers. The officer was accompanied by Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer and District Nodal Officer of PM Kisan, Ajit Kumar Bora, Agricultural Development Officer, Sanjeev Saikia and District Media Expert Bitupan Saikia.
