Poacher held by forest guards patrolling party in Nameri National Park

TEZPUR: One Doya Khaklari of Balipara-Potasali village, who entered Nameri National Park for poaching, was apprehended by the forest guards' patrolling party on Friday evening. Two hand-made rifles and cartridge were recovered from his possession. Another poacher managed to flee from the spot. Doya Khaklari was produced in the Tezpur court on Saturday and sent to jail.
