Poem recitation workshop held in Sociology Department of Demow College

DEMOW: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Gyanpith Awardee Dr.Birendra Kumar Bhattacharjee, the Sociology Department of Demow College had organized a poem recitation programme in the college. Juga Gogoi, president of the organizing committee of Dr.Birendra Kumar Bhattacharjee birth anniversary programme spoke on the life of Dr.Birendra Kumar Bhattacharjee. Bina Barua, in charge Principal of Demow College inaugurated the programme. Hamida Begum, Professor in Demow College lit the ceremonial lamp.

Gunamoni Gogoi, Professor in Demow College anchored the programme. The students of the Demow College participated in the workshop. Juliyana Begum, Former president of All Assam Kabi Sanmillan was present as specific orator in the poem recitation workshop. Arun Sarma, vice president of Demow Branch Xahitya Xabha, Tulan Bezbarua, adviser and Professors of Demow College were present.
