Police Commemoration Day observed by SSB 24 Bn at Rangia Hahara camp

RANGIA: To recall the sacrifices of security forces, the Police Commemoration Day was observed by the SSB 24 Bn at Rangia Hahara camp on Thursday.

Deepak Sahi, Pankaj Sarma and Deepak Savita, Deputy Commandant of SSB 24 Bn, along with other officers and jawans paid homage to the brave martyrs who had sacrificed their lives to protect the country.

Sanjeev Roa, Deputy Commandant of SSB 24 Bn, on behalf of Hrishikesh Sarma, Commandant SSB 24 Bn, felicitated Nalini Medhi, Pooja Medhi and Kaushik Medhi, the mother, daughter and son respectively of martyr Nakul Medhi of Rangia Gurkuchi who lost his life in an encounter with the NDFB in the year 2013 at Panbari under Chirang district, on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day in their residence. They were felicitated with a bouquet of flowers, garland and memento.
