Earlier, a traffic policeman posted in the Bhangagarh Police Station was found dead under mysterious circumstances on March 11. Police sources identified the deceased policeman as Biplab Sinha, who was aged around 29 years.

Sinha had gone asleep inside a cot in the police station after duty hours on the night of March 10  and he was found dead the following morning. The sources said that the cause of death was yet to be ascertained.

After failing to establish contact with him, his colleagues searched him and found his body lying on a bed.

Speaking to the media, Singh's senior termed him as a brave and daring person.

''He (Biplab) arrived at 10.15 PM and I left around 11 PM. While we were talking to each other, Singha sought some phone numbers of doctors. Since I have been in this station for a long time, I have helped several people coming for treatment and also know many doctors,'' he added.
