Posts of teachers lying vacant in Demow Higher Secondary School

DEMOW: The Demow Higher Secondary School which is situated in Demow Chariali is the only HSLC Examination centre in Demow area and is also the oldest school in Demow area. It does not have a permanent Assamese subject teacher and the post is lying vacant for a long period of time. Similarly, a post of a hindi teacher is also lying vacant in Demow Girls High School. It has become difficult for the students to manage their studies. Recently, a student from Demow Girls High School has secured 7th position in the HSLC Examination 2022. As the half yearly examination is nearing, the guardians have expressed concern. They have demanded the authority to appoint both teachers as soon as possible.
