Prabhat Pheri organized as part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebration at Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: The Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar, a centre of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Jais, Amethi organized 'Prabhat Pheri' on Friday with a rally from Girls' Hostel-I, Taxi Ali to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar as part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebration to commemorate the 75th year of India's Independence.

Chinmoy Jit Sarma, In-charge, AEI, flagged off the rally at 6 am from Taxi Ali. The rally was attended by the students as well as teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute. As a part of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, national flags were distributed to Principals of government colleges of Sivasagar and Nazira, ONGC ED and GM HR & SP, Sivasagar, stated a press release.
