Prativa Sangha felicitated meritorious students, budding poet in Silchar

GUWAHATI: Prativa Sangha, East Kachudharam, located on the outskirts of Silchar town, felicitated the meritorious students of the village who had performed well in the HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) examinations, 2020, and a budding poet on Tuesday.

The simple function that was presided over by educationist Basabi Sinha, who was flanked by poet Champalal Sinha and writer-cum-social worker Ramasay Sinha, felicitated Dipanjali Sinha, Sneha Sinha, Bipasa Sinha, Sanat Bawri and Sangeeta Bawri who came out with flying colours in the HSLC examinations. Budding poet Jantu Sinha was also felicitated at the function. Jantu Sinha bagged the third prize in a recent Bishnupriya Manipuri poetry competition conducted under a literary movement initiated by an India-Bangladesh literary group.
