Pre-Christmas celebration organized at West Karbi Anglong

DONGKAMUKAM: A grand pre-Christmas celebration was held at Satgaon ME School playground, West Karbi Anglong. It was inaugurated by Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) MAC Chandra Br Chetry, in presence of Veterinary Development Board chairman Ditolal Hasnu, social worker ME Kathar, senior citizen Dinen Bordoloi, Peter Marak and others.

The celebration was organized by Chibasal Dol. Isaiah M Marak's band from Tura, Meghalaya enthralled the gathering with Christmas carols and songs. Earlier, the inaugural prayer was done by Parish Priest Rev Fr Gabriel G Momin of Satgaon Parish followed by welcome song by Bathesda Prayer Group and brief Bible message from the director of Bathesda Prayer Centre, Timi Dio Sangma, all from Bhellapara Mission Centre.

Pre-Christmas celebration was also organized at Satgaon Don Bosco by ICYM, Rengthama A'chik Baptist Church and New Bithung Church by BYF.
