Assam: Escort Vehicle Allegedly Kills Man in Bokakhat

GUWAHATI: A man was killed in the wreckage of a presidential convoy, alleged locals.

This accident happened in Bokakhat.

A local man was run over by a presidential escort vehicle heading to Kaziranga National Park.

The deceased was identified as Rameshwar Rabidas of Milanpur in Bokakhat.

The incident occurred in front of JDSG College in Bokakhat, the President's convoy is carrying people.

Eye witnesses claimed that he was hit by at least three vehicles in front of a college in the area on NH37. He reportedly died on the spot.

The vehicle in question was travelling to Kaziranga national park (KNP) where the President and his family were scheduled to arrive in the afternoon hours.
