Principal of Phulbari HS School Hriday Ranjan Bordoloi passes away in Guwahati

LAKHIMPUR: Hriday Ranjan Bordoloi, the Principal of Phulbari Higher Secondary School under Lakhimpur district, breathed his last in a Guwahati hospital on Thursday morning. He was the permanent resident of Phulbari Bhogpuriya village. He was 45.

Hriday Ranjan Bordoloi was admitted in a private hospital in Guwahati for health problems a couple of days ago. He came back home after recovery. However, his health condition deteriorated again and he was admitted in a nursing home in Dibrugarh. Later, he was shifted to the hospital in Guwahati again for advanced treatment.

Hriday Ranjan Bordoloi started his service life as assistant teacher at Phulbari Higher Secondary School in 2003. He assumed the charge of Principal of the same educational institution in 2017. On Thursday evening, his body was escorted to the educational institution wherein the students, academic and administrative staff of the school, Phulbari regional unit of All Assam Students' Union, other organizations and institutions and admirers paid him the last homage. His untimely death has cast a pall of grief in the entire Phulbari area.
