Principal Secretary Anurag Goel visits FAAMCH at Barpeta

BARPETA: The Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Anurag Goel on Friday visited the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH), Barpeta and assured that a 15- bedded ICU would be set up very soon. He also assured availability of oxygen for COVID care and fulfilling other requirements of the medical college.

He also discussed with the Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta and Dr Ramen Talukdar, Principal of FAAMCH, about the COVID situation. The Deputy Commissioner said that the doctors were present when he visited FAAMCH and Barpeta Civil Hospital, Kalgachoya at 1 am and 2 am. Again 140 COVID Care Centres will set up at Barpeta, Lukarpar, Bhalukadaba and Jania.
