Protest by ASHA workers in front of DC's office of Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: ASHA workers under the banner of All Assam ASHA Karmi Sangstha, Golaghat unit staged protest in front of the DC's office of Golaghat on Wednesday in support of various demands. The ASHA workers gathered in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office and shouted various slogans. The ASHA workers demanded the government to provide adequate salary to the workers, appoint them under NHM and to release their arrear amount. A memorandum was submitted to the State Health Minister through the Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat.
