Puppeteers, artistes felicitated at Pathsala Azad Bhawan

PATHSALA: A State-level workshop of puppeteers, theatre groups and associated artistes was held on Sunday on the Pathsala Azad Bhawan premises.

Housefed chairman and MLA of Sorbhog constituency Ranjeet Kumar Dass attended the programme and felicitated 93 artistes. The programme was arranged by a group of people associated with a film named 'Life in a Puppet'. The film portrays the struggle of puppeteers. The film has brought glory to the State by receiving many awards. An exhibition on puppets was also held on the occasion where 13 groups from various parts of the State participated.

The welcome address was delivered by Rajen Das where music director Tarali Sarma, producer of Abahan Theatre Krishna Roy, BJP spokesman Phani Pathak, BJP Bajali district president Nagen choudhury, among others were present.
