Quiz and Elocution Competitions organized at Biswanath College

Biswanath Chariali: The 18th annual All-Assam Inter-College Sadananda Chaliha Memorial Elocution and Najeebur Rahman Memorial Quiz competition was held at Biswanath College on Friday with a day-long programme.

Promod Borthakur, MLA of Biswanath LAC, inaugurated the event in the presence of Dr. Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of Biswanath College. Prabhat Chandra Gogoi, chairman of the governing body, Mira Mudoi Bora, Vice-Principal, and a host of invited guests were present on the occasion.

Gitanjali Mali of Tezpur University, Prachurjya Sarma of Darrang College and Sanjukta Chakraborty of College of Agriculture and Adrita Parasha Mahanta of Biswanath Commerce College (jointly), secured the first, second and third positions respectively in the elocution competition held on the topic of ‘Abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir and its Aftermath’. On the other hand, Angarag Sandilya and Amlan Dutta of Nowgong College, Nayanjyoti H Sarma and Anuran Borah of College of Agriculture and Priyanuj Kandali and Koustuv Moni Bora of Tezpur University won the first, second and third prizes respectively in the quiz competition.
