Quiz contest organized on World AIDS Day in Sarupeta

SARUPETA: To create awareness about AIDS, COVID-19 and other serious diseases and health related issues among students, the Red Ribbon Club of BHB College, Sarupeta organized a quiz contest on 'AIDS and General Health' on December 1 on the occasion of World AIDS Day. The quiz was conducted by Dr. Birinchi Kumar Das, Principal of the college, while Assistant Professors Nabamoni Saikia, Sumit Ghose and Preeti Rekha Dutta took the charge of the logistic arrangements. Among the 21 teams who participated in the quiz, Ashim Das and Bikashjyoti Das of MC College, Barpeta won the first prize. Two teams from BHB College, Bhabajyoti Tahbildar-Chandramohan Talukdar and Ridip Deka-Pulakesh Barman secured the second and third positions respectively. At the end of the competition, prizes were distributed by Associate Professor Dr. Kalpana Baishya, Assistant Professors Dr. PurabiTalukdar and Dr. Diptimani Goswami.
