Rabha Hasong Movement Committee candidate announced at Dudhnoi

DUDHNOI: The long-held speculation about the BJP's (Bharatiya Janata Party) candidate of 36th Dudhnoi constituency finally came to an end. All Rabha Students' Union general secretary Shyamjit Rabha has been nominated as the alliance candidate of the BJP and Rabha Hasong Joint Movement Committee (RHJMC) for 36th Dudhnoi (Tribal) Assembly constituency. The announcement was made by Tankeshwar Rabha, CEM of Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) and Chief Convener of RHJMC at a press conference held here on Sunday.

Tankeshwar Rabha stated that the decision was taken in a RHJMC meeting that Shyamjit Rabha will be the candidate for the upcoming Assembly elections. It is to be noted that the Dudhnoi Constituency was abandoned by the BJP in association with the RHJMC. Shyamjit Rabha name has been announced as the candidate in place of current MLA Deepak Kumar Rabha through the Joint Forum Candidate Selection Committee. Shyamjit Rabha will be in the electoral battle for the upcoming elections with symbol of the BJP.
