Railway Employee to be tested for COVID-19

Haflong: A youth having travel record from Patna has been admitted at Haflong Civil Hospital as suspected case of coronavirus, said Superintendent of HCH, Dr Kalpana Kemprai on Monday. The patient, an employee of N F Railway, came to Haflong Civil Hospital on his own and requested to be tested for coronavirus since he was having cold and other symptoms. HCH authority took his sample and sent it to Silchar Medical College for test as per protocol. Dr Kemprai appealed to the people of Dima Hasao not to panic since the case was yet to be diagnosed only after test result.
