Railway Police Recover Smuggled Gold Biscuits From 12423 Down Rajdhani Express

Railway Police recovered 11 gold biscuits on Monday from 12423 Down Rajdhani Express. Talking to media, Bishnu Basumatary, OC, Bongaigaon GRP said that a team from Guwahati was continuing search operation from Guwahati and finally recovered the biscuits from a school bag in a coach.

BONGAIGAON: Railway Police recovered 11 gold biscuits on Monday from 12423 Down Rajdhani Express. Talking to media, Bishnu Basumatary, OC, Bongaigaon GRP said that a team from Guwahati was continuing search operation from Guwahati and finally recovered the biscuits from a school bag in a coach. “Two person namely Ikato H Sumi (32) and Neisakato Angami (32) were arrested by police from the spot. Both are from Dimapur town of Nagaland . A case (Case No GRPF 51/23 under IPC Section 120B/420/379/411 is registered here. Value of the biscuits are about 1 crore 10 lakh rupees. Our interrogation is on,” he said.
