Rangia Railway Station under N F Railway to be Plastic-free Station

Rangia: Rangia Railway Station under N F Railway will be the first single-use plastic-free station from Tuesday. This was declared by VA Malegaokar, the newly-appointed Divisional Railway Manager of Rangia Railway Division in a press meet held in the conference room of the DRM on Monday.

The press meet was organized in connection with Swachhata Pakhwara (cleanliness fortnigh ) which started from Monday. The Swachhata Pakhowara was started with prabhat pheri, cleanliness drive in the residential area of the Railway staff and officers, distribution of saplings to the Railway staff, Shram Daan, street drama and plantation in the different railway stations under Division. The Swachhata Pakhowara will conclude on October 2. On that day, two statues will be unveiled in the premises of the DRM office, he declared.
