Rashtriya Poshan Maah Concludes In Morigaon District

MORIGAON: Along with the rest of the country, the Rashtriya Poshan Maah concluded on Monday. An ethnic cultural programme was organized in Morigaon district on the occasion.

The closing ceremony was organized by Morigaon district administration in association with the District Social Welfare Department supported by Laharighat ICDS at Kustoli, Laharighat. Attending as the chief guest, State Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma asked CDPOs, supervisors and AWWs to work for both mother and child so that the country could get healthy children who would contribute to nation building. She stressed 1,000 days of holistic nourishment for pregnant women.

Gossaigaon: Along with the rest of India, the Rashtriya Poshan Maah concluded at Gossaigaon. The whole month of September was celebrated as the Poshan Maah. Various programmes were held in different places like Kachugaon and Bhauraguri of the subdivision. On the concluding day an awareness programme was held at Puthimari LP School under the banner of Gossaigaon ICDS.
