Kokrajhar: A skill development programme was organized by the Army unit under Red Horns Division. Using local connect and presence of the army in the remotest of places, a skill development programme was organized by army in collaboration with Pragati Edu Tech. Under this programme, more than 400 boys and 150 girls were benefitted.

This programme was a great platform for youths to explore their potential and make the right call for their career without bothering about their financial status. This also helped them to boost their morale, bringing them into the mainstream. After the registration and screening of candidates, they will be going to Guwahati for three months of free training in various fields like hospitality, food, and beverages. The programme was conducted in Dhaligaon High School were various senior officers of the Indian Army, civil administration of Chirang district and representatives of Pragati Edutech attended the function. The programme included an address by Chirang Deputy Commissioner and presentation by Pragati Edutech, highlighting the avenues after undergoing the said training.
