Red Horns Division organized National Integration Tour

Kokrajhar: Kokrajhar unit under the Red Horns Division organized a National Integration Tour from November 12 to November 26 under Operation Sadbhavna. Sources from the army said the tour comprising of 20 boy students and two teachers from different schools of Kokrajhar district was flagged in on November 26 by Commanding Officer, Kokrajhar Army unit, and civil dignitaries from DC office, Kokrajhar.

The tour covered the best parts of cities like Amritsar, Dalhousie, and Chandigarh. Places of historical importance like the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Attari-Wagah Border Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, Rock Garden and places famous for art, science and technology were included in the tour. The cities were selected keeping in mind the rich cultural and historical heritage. The aim of the tour was to acquaint the students with the rich cultural heritage, history, current scenario and mainstream education system of the country.
