MANGALDAI: As a part of their continuing endeavour towards providing basic veterinary facilities to the people living in the rural and remote areas, the troops of Red Horns Division organized a veterinary camp at Pathakpur village near Mazbat in Udalguri district on Thursday.

A team of well qualified veterinary staff from the Indian Army and District Veterinary Services consisting of three veterinary doctors and Veterinary Field Assistants actively participated and provided their services. Free medicines were also provided during the camp. The response to the camp was overwhelming and over 1,200 ailing animals from the nearby villages of Adarshgaon, Shikaridanga, Garobasti and Shillonhkhuti were treated.

On conclusion of the event, the district administration and local village heads expressed their deep appreciation to the Indian Army for organizing the camp.
