Rescued feral horse gives birth in Dibru-Saikhowa National Park, Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: The wildlife activists need to rejoice after one of the six feral horses of Dibru-Saikhowa National Park, that was rescued from clutches of horse smugglers on February 28 and released in the core area of the Park on March 7, delivered a foal (baby) on Monday.

Sharing the information, the DFO of Tinsukia Wildlife Division, Rajendra Singh Bharti said one of the horses was pregnant and utmost care was taken during transshipment and release to Lanka Tapu, the core area of the Park.
