MORIGAON: At a time when the State government has invested crores of rupees to develop the road communication, pathetic conditions of two bylanes - Kaliram Dekaraja bylane of ward no 9 and Lukapriya bylane of ward 6 have raised eyebrows of the citizens of the town. The two bylanes have been lying without renovation for a long time even after the laying of their foundation stones. The 900-metre-long Kaliram Dekaraja bylane is connecting from Morigaon-Jagiroad PWD road to Morakalong. The foundation stone of the bylane was laid on 3-11-2018 under Morigaon State PWD. Since then the bylane has been lying without construction. On the other hand, the condition of the nearly 250-metre-long Lokapriya bylane under Municipal Board is pathetic.
