Retired Headmaster of Puranigudam LP School passes away

A CORRESPONDENT

GAURISAGAR: Santiram Borah, a resident of Dikhowmukh Udoypur originally in Dikhowmukh Gayan gaon on the outskirts of Gaurisagar in Sivasagar and a retired Headmaster of Puranigudam LP School in Rupahimukh, passed away recently due to cardiac arrest. He was 71.

He was a very gentle person. He was loved and respected by everyone for his amicable nature. He got superannuation in 2010. He was a devoted disciple of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha. Sivasagar Prathamik Sikshak Sanmiloni, Srimanta Sankardev Sangha Dikhowmukh Prathamik Sakha, Dikhowmukh Press Club and other organizations and individuals condoled his demise. He is survived by his wife, a son, three daughters and a host of relatives.
